• Terms Table - For developers, there is a new table called wp_terms.
• New Tag and Terms API - Plugin developers will appreciate new API that inevitably comes with a new feature this large.
• New Template Tags - There are not a tremendous amount of new template tags dealing with tagging, however theme designers should be aware of them and adjust themes as necessary.
